6 trips to the ward legal office, 5 trips to the post office, 4 trips to the bank, 3 grand in incorporation expenses, 2 years of planning and 1 guy in his early twenties. In June 2003, this Brave New Formula gave birth to what is now Afia Corporation.
Afia stands for "A Fantasy In Action" and the entity itself is the actualization of a fantasy being put into action: that of starting a company and assisting others in achieving their full potential. Afia serves both corporate and individual clients so that they may challenge themselves to accelerate their growth, reach new heights and to stand stronger in the face of adversity.
The Afia team is a select group of individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. Not only are our professionals experts in finance, accounting, marketing, business planning, human resources and other key corporate functions; they carry various certifications and have experience serving industries from insurance to gaming, and firms of various sizes ranging from sole proprietorships to multinational conglomerates.
While we started off as a management consulting mainly for the financial sector, we came to realize that we can serve more clients by providing a service which has generally been unavailable at any price: premier quality, high-speed translation. Our experience in the international consulting arena proved to provide the perfect foundation for such services, as we are always able to picture how each document will be used by our clients and to fine-tune our word choice, writing style and formatting which allows for immediate use with minimal proofreading on the client's part.
